No two weddings are the same and as your photographer, my style and approach is flexible and tailored to what you like. The photography will combine a reportage, documentary style with some more traditional posed bride, groom and family photos, to create a balanced set of images

Having worked as a photojournalist, I naturally shoot in a candid style, working unobtrusively in the background without interfering with the flow of the day. This kind of photography is good for capturing natural, spontaneous moments as they happen. Working in a relaxed, informal way allows me to take photos without making my presence felt, producing a personal, intimate account of your wedding.

The reportage or photojournalistic approach is to not interference and work in the background, while traditional wedding photography usually involves orchestrating posed photographs and following a set shot list. While I prefer to keep my interference to a minimum, there will be some key images that need to be covered. Before your wedding we will have the opportunity to discuss exactly what you want from your wedding photographer. Portrait and group photos can be arranged to fit into your wedding day schedule at the best time and at the most interesting location.
